Kraków, the former capital of Poland, is regarded as one of Europe's most beautiful cities. Known for its rich history, exquisite architecture, and cultural heritage, the city attracts millions of tourists from around the world. Kraków is also a significant academic and scientific hub, with Jagiellonian University being one of the oldest and most prestigious universities in Europe.

Transport from the Airport to the City Center

Kraków-Balice Airport, located approximately 11 km west of the city center, is easily accessible via an extensive transportation network. Here are a few options to help you quickly reach the conference:

  • Train: Trains depart from the airport every 30 minutes, heading to the main railway station in Kraków (Kraków Główny). The journey takes about 20 minutes.
  • Bus: Buses 208, 252, and the night bus 902 run regularly between the airport and the city center. The bus stop is directly in front of the passenger terminal.
  • Taxi and Uber/Bolt: Licensed taxis and ride services like Uber are also available in front of the terminal, offering a trip to the city center in about 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic.
